The person behind the books
I write the books I couldn't find for my own children.
Hi, I'm Sadia. I'm an early childhood educator, and I'm also the person who plans every page, draws every activity and answers your questions when something isn't clear. G'day Little Learners is a small, family-run business โ one educator, five books and two bonus books, all made at the kitchen table after the children are asleep.
I've spent more than seven years watching little ones learn to hold a pencil, hear their first sound in a word, and count to twenty without skipping a number. Those moments are huge for a child โ and they're worth celebrating. These books exist to give you ten quiet minutes with your child and something you can both be proud of.

How it started
From classroom tables to your kitchen table.
I hold a Certificate III, a Diploma and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and I currently work as an Educational Leader at a Montessori early learning centre in Victoria. In that work I see the same thing every week: children blossom when learning feels like play, and they switch off when it feels like work.
Most of the printable packs out there were either too busy, too boring, or written for another country. So I started making pages for the children in my care โ one letter at a time, one sound at a time โ and they kept asking for more.
Learning should never feel like a chore. It should feel like an adventure! ๐ฆ
๐ What that means for your child: pages chosen by someone who has watched hundreds of little ones learn, so every activity meets them where they are and gently nudges them forward.
My process
How every book gets made.
Nothing here is a random page of dots to join. Each book has a reason behind every activity.
Start with what children need
A book begins in the classroom โ with the children who are learning their letters, still building their pencil grip, or counting everything they can reach. The need comes first, the book comes after.
Break it into small steps
Each skill is chopped into little wins. One sound, one letter, one shape at a time, so a child always has a page they can finish on their own and feel proud of.
Make it look like play
Colouring, mazes, stickers, spotting the odd one out and counting kookaburras. If a page looks like a test, children close it โ so no page does.
Keep it simple for parents
Print it, hand it over, sit with your child for ten minutes. No lesson planning, no teacher voice and no piles of craft mess to clean up afterwards.

Every book stands on its own, and together they cover the five areas children need before they start school.
